The 2024-25 Premier League campaign is upon us, which has football fans excited. Other than the matches themselves, one of the things to look forward to is how the new kits will look this upcoming season.
Last year, Liverpool were the highest-ranked Premier League club in kit sales, as they made €132 million from their Nike jerseys. Manchester United are right behind them, making €130 million from their Adidas kits, while Arsenal are ranked third at €89 million.
As things stand, all 20 Premier League clubs have revealed most of their kit designs, and more will be unveiled over the coming days.
So which teams have the best kits so far? Today, we list some of the ones that caught our attention.
Fulham
Sometimes keeping it simple is the way to go, and that’s what Fulham did with their new kits.
Just like last season, Fulham’s 2024-25 home kits will feature a predominantly clean white color with a few accents of black and red trim. Of course, SBOTOP remains the team’s jersey sponsor, as their logo will be placed on the front.
The away kits, however, will look much different this time. After dabbling with Inter Miami colors of black and hot pink, this time Fulham will bring back their red-white-black combo in a striped retro design.
Football fans may liken this design to AC Milan or OGC Nice, but it mainly caters to the traditionalists that have supported this club for a long time.
Manchester United
Manchester United have signed a five-year deal with TeamViewer as their jersey sponsor, but both parties decided to end their £47 million deal prematurely. It was confirmed last September that the Red Devils had secured a new arrangement with Snapdragon after agreeing to a record-breaking 10-year kit deal with Adidas.
As always, Manchester United’s home kits will feature a bright tomato red color with the big Snapdragon logo on the chest area. The home uniform was already on display during the team’s recently concluded preseason tour.
The big difference this year for Manchester United is their away kit.
After coloring their road jerseys green and white last season, this time the Red Devils bring back their blue colorways, similar to what they had in the 1990s (with Sharp as their sponsor), as a representation of the three main waterways that flow through the city.
The Red Devils’ third kit will be similar to 2022-23, during Erik ten Hag’s first year in charge, as it brings back the predominantly white shirt with a couple of red and black stripes. Last season, Manchester United didn’t have an accent of black in their alternative uniforms.
Manchester City
Meanwhile, the Red Devils’ noisy neighbours also deserve a shoutout for their classy kit designs this upcoming season.
Manchester City, backed by Puma, will continue to rock their Sky Blue home kits, but this time they have tape trim on the side bearing the local 0161 dialing code as an ode to the city.
Their third kit’s color is burgundy, which has the letters, symbols, crest, and numbers written in golden, which is aesthetically pleasing to the eyes.
You can just imagine Erling Haaland, with his long blonde locks, running across the pitch while wearing the alternative kit, making Premier League 2024 highlights, which is a sight to behold for Manchester City fans.
Manchester City’s away kit, on the other hand, will feature a black and neon yellow striped design, which has drawn mixed reactions. This kind of looks like Fenerbahce’s 2023-24 kit (probably because they have the same outfitter), but with less emphasis on the bright yellow color.
Arsenal
The one thing that stands out about Arsenal’s uniform set this upcoming season is their black away kit that has green and red trims.
According to reports, the Gunners’ away kit pays homage to the British-African heritage in North London, and for sure, this will be one of the top-selling kits this year because of the bold design alone.
On the other hand, Arsenal will maintain their red and white home kits designed by Adidas. The traditional template remains the same, but the addition of the old cannon emblem above the Emirates logo is a nice touch.
The third kit will have a unique mixture of purple and different hues of blue, and this design is set to be released later this month. Hopefully for Arsenal, their new kits will help them finally win the Premier League title after back-to-back runner-up finishes, and this year may be their best chance, according to the Premier League 2024 odds.
